How to preliminarily judge fish disease from the abnormal activity of fish by aquaculture farmers

1. Jumping: Spring fillet fish and Xindingtang fish. In the morning and evening, individual fish often jump on the water surface, making the water surface crack.

This is caused by parasites such as argilli and fleas living on the skin and gills of fish. It is necessary to promptly apply medicine to the symptoms.

2. Side slip: fish do not swim underwater in the center of the pool, but swim in groups in one direction near the pool, especially carp and grass carp, which make the pool water turbid.

This is a manifestation of parasites, bacterial gill rot disease or water quality deterioration.

3. Lie on the side: the head and back of the fish are black, swim alone, do not eat, lie alone in the grass nest and the hidden place near the pool, swim slowly after seeing people, and then return to the pool, especially grass carp, some of which also have stripes or patches of yellow.

This is a manifestation of tapeworm disease.

4. Free of food: May and August are the peak period of fish growth, and the fish will not be fed on the feeding table after the feeding machine is turned on.

This is the precursor of water quality deterioration, and water quality should be adjusted in time.

5. Fried group: the fish jump in pieces continuously during eating, or eat as if they are frightened, and suddenly disperse in groups and run away, and then return to the feeding table to eat in a few minutes.

This is a sign of parasitic gill rot.

6. Round and round: In early spring or late autumn, the water temperature is between 12-20 ℃, and fish species often round and round on the water surface.

This is a sign that fish species suffer from diseases such as flagellates and ciliates.

7. Diving frenzy: In summer and autumn, silver carp swim like submarines, floating and sinking on the water.

This is a sign of silver carp suffering from myxosporiasis or gill rot disease.

8. Early and frequent floating head: It is normal for the fish to float slightly around 4-6 am. If the start time of floating head is advanced day by day, or it is suddenly advanced to 10 o'clock at night, or even earlier, the number of floating head and the number of days will increase.

This indicates that the water quality is poor or the fish has gill rot disease.
